I am 99% sure (according to my 19 year old son - and god know he is always right) that the ';Lip Gloss'; reference is to the girls giving oral sex to the boys. That is why the boys like it but the girls don't in the song. It also says that the principal likes her lip-gloss too. Report Abuse

she is pretty much just talking about how her lip gloss made her popular because it was so cool. ';poppin'; means something like cool or awesome.
I don't think it refers to the ';rainbow game';- which is a sexual ';game'; if you really want to call it that. I think it's just a regular song with no hidden meaning.
she talks about the flavors and colors of her lip gloss. she talks about how alsome thet are 2 her. most girls get it why not you.
honestly i think it's a pretty pointless song but that's just my opinion. it's about some girl who becomes instantly popular because she has cool lipgloss. ';poppin''; pretty much just means cool. so yeah, there's not really a ';meaning'; to the song if you ask me.
